Group KINGDOM displayed its intense charisma.
KINGDOM (Dann, Arthur, Mujin, Louis, Ivan, Hwon and Jahan) released the performance version of the music video for “Coup d’état“, JAHAN’s title song, from its 7th mini album “History of Kingdom: Part Ⅶ JAHAN” at 10 p.m. KST on November 11.
Earlier, KINGDOM attracted attention by releasing the behind-the-scenes music video for “Coup d’état” in two videos (vidéo 1, vidéo 2). The group then released an unscheduled version of a music video performance and presented it as a giveaway for the global KING MAKERs (fandom names).
The video released that day shows KINGDOM exhibiting perfect harmony with the choreography of “Coup d’état”. KINGDOM showed its dynamic energy by moving between the palace and the desert. The atmosphere felt like watching a film attracted the attention of the spectators.
Particularly, as this music video was the first by a Korean boy idol group to be considered an “all-roke” in India, the performance version also features sophisticated video beauty. Unlike this clip, it’s all performances from start to finish, which further increases the level of immersion.
KINGDOM, which debuted in 2021, topped five Amazon Music charts in the United States for the first time as a “fourth generation idol” and achieved three consecutive top 10 victories in the US Billboard “World Digital Song Sales” chart. This album also topped the iTunes charts in five countries, including the United States. Additionally, KINGDOM was selected as the US advertising model for the first time since its debut and is taking a step forward globally.
KINGDOM will attend the “Asia Artist Awards 2023” in the Philippines on December 14 and will hold Japanese promotions and fan meetings starting on December 16.
