The 31st anniversary of the Hanteo Music Awards 2023 concluded the first round of voting for the “Global Artist Award”, which was fierce.
According to Hanteo Global (CEO Kwak Young Ho), organizer of the “31st Anniversary of Hanteo Music Awards 2023“, the first round of the “Global Artist Award“, which was held via the official mobile application “Who’s fan“, at starting from noon on December 11 until 6 p.m. KST on December 17.
The “Global Artist Award” is a vote to select artists who have been loved by fans around the world by performing particularly brilliantly overseas, in addition to Korea. Using comprehensive global metrics, the awards are divided into Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania, North America and South America categories. The first round of voting is a preliminary vote to select the candidates for the second round, who will be present in the final selection, and all artists ranked in the top 10 per continent will advance to the second round.
Based on regional information (GPS) from participating users, the top votes by continent were Asia: TEMPEST, Europe: V, North America STRAY KIDS, South America JUNGKOOK, Oceania STRAY KIDS and Africa: JIMIN.
Additionally, a total of 22 artists, excluding overlapping artists, will be ranked in the top 10 per continent and advance to the second round of voting for the “Global Artist Award“. The global fandom is paying close attention to which of the 22 artists will participate in the second round of voting and who will be ranked among the top by continent. The second round of voting for the “Global Artist Award” will be held on the official “Who’s fan” mobile voting app from January 4 at 12 p.m. KST on January 17, 2024.
The 31st Anniversary Hanteo Music Awards 2023 will be held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) on February 17 and 18, 2024.
