WAKER
The debut of rookie boy group WAKER is only a day away.

WAKER (Kohyeon, Kwon Hyeop, Ijun, Leo, Saebyeol and Sebum) will release its debut album “MISSION OF SCHOOL” on all music sites on January 8 at noon and begin their activities in earnest.
In particular, WAKER raises the expectations of many K-pop fans, because all members have excellent visuals and have been active in Japan before and have shown enough excellent skills to receive good responses.
As a result, three waiting points were highlighted to more fully enjoy WAKER’s debut.
# Eye-catching visuals and proven skills
After WAKER’s debut was confirmed, the first thing that attracted attention was the members’ excellent visuals.
In fact, after the concept photos were released, WAKER members made quite an impression by showing off their exceptional visuals enough to be posted on various community topics. In particular, the fact that each of the six members has their own charm and personality is another reason why they attract attention.
However, WAKER isn’t just about visuals. In fact, most of the members of WAKER already have experience in various fields, and first of all, KOHYEON has gained experience by performing in various fields such as solo activities, musicals, and webdramas.
Additionally, SEBUM appeared in Mnet’s “Cap Teen” and Channel A’s “Youth Star“, while KWON HYEOP and SAEBEYOL appeared in Mnet’s “Produce 101 seasons 2 and X101″, respectively. LEO and IJUN also made their faces known by appearing in MBC’s “Boy Fantasy” and JTBC’s “Mixnine”.
As such, this is a WAKER group that has proven both its visuals and its skills, so expectations are high on what they will show off in its debut album.

# the potential we first discovered abroad
WAKER’s official debut is on the 8th, but they are already gaining a lot of popularity by having a head start in Japan.
In fact, WAKER performed 22 times at K-Stage O! in Shin-Okubo, Tokyo, Japan, in December last year, and met local fans and received good responses. Furthermore, his popularity is gradually increasing in Japan, with all WAKER members appearing in the top 20, including KWON HYEOP and SAEBEYEOL, ranked 9th and 10th respectively on idol voting sites.
As this is a WAKER group that received good responses from abroad before making its official debut and was recognized for its potential, more attention is paid to its activities after its official debut.

# our first album
Although WAKER’s debut album, “MISSION OF SCHOOL“, is a mini-album, it contains up to 10 tracks, offering as much volume as a full album.
Additionally, all 10 songs are filled with new tracks, with the exception of the English version of the pre-released song “Dash” and the title track “Atlantis”, signaling rich and diverse music.
This is a very unconventional decision given that rookie bands usually debut with a single or have less than five tracks, even if it is a mini-album, which indicates the efforts and the passion of WAKER in its first album.
WAKER’s debut album, “MISSION OF SCHOOL”, will be released simultaneously worldwide on January 8 at noon.
