HUI showed the essence of “self-production” through its new audio clip.
Agency Cube Entertainment released an audio sample of HUI’s debut solo mini album “WHU IS ME: Complex” on its official SNS on January 8 at midnight KST.
In addition to HUI’s colorful charm, the released audio sample contains a total of four sound sources, including the title song “흠뻑”, “Melo”, “Cold Killer” and “봄이 오면 겨울은 지나가“. HUI possessed exceptional singing ability and a wide range of genre assimilation, with a gentle tone and a sometimes intense and high-pitched voice in keeping with the changing atmosphere of each song.
In particular, the lyrics of “횡단보도 위 트리플 악셀 / 지붕 위 Break dance / 길거리 깡통 드리블” in the title song “흠뻑” revealed HUI’s unique musical sense, vertically arousing expectations for the solo god.
HUI even made watching fun by manipulating sound devices to create beats or playing various instruments such as piano and guitar, just like the term “versatile.” While the tracklist previously announced that the new song was composed of all songs created by HUI himself, he aroused the pride of his fans with a performance that seemed to prove this fact.
HUI, who is set to make a solo comeback on January 16, proved his strength by selling his first tickets for a high-speed solo show on the 3rd. HUI, who has been recognized for his outstanding musicianship through various activities, is expected to captivate listeners with his own unique musical universe through his solo career.
