“AI Rookie Solo Idol” JD1’s first single is released today.
JD1 will debut today after releasing its first digital single “WHO AM I” this January 11.
“WHO AM I” is JD1’s first song, and hitmaker Ryan Jhun participated in the production and raised the level of completion. It is a pop dance genre song that contains the confusion that JD1, who ignores the world, experiences and finds its identity. In addition, it expresses the feelings of adults and adolescents who are in the process of finding the right answer to questions about themselves.
As the first single is a bouncy melodic dance song, MOTF, which produced outstanding choreography from various K-pop idols such as Seventeen, Itzy, Stray Kids and Boynextdoor, completed JD1’s own custom choreography.
Previously, JD1 released various pre-contents such as concept photos, highlight tunes, ambient samplers, and music videos via its official SNS and YouTube channel.
Particularly, in the second teaser of the music video released on January 10, JD1’s dynamic dance performance, addictive melody and colorful visuals combine to announce high quality, further raising expectations for the first scene.
JD1 is an independent character newly created by producer and singer Jung Dong Won, to challenge various genres, not limited to the trotting genre. As an idol designed to challenge the K-pop market, he was created after spending about two years working hard on producing songs, choreography, and styles in various directions.
