The group AIMERS sports a refreshing look.
On January 31 and February 1, the Hyper Rhythm agency unveiled posters and concept photos for AIMERS’ second single “SOMEBODY” on its official SNS.
In the published poster, the phrase “Where we go? Really! Where we go?” is noticeable with all six members looking somewhere in a casual style. A refreshing vibe was depicted with typography expressing the new song title “Where we go” in a kitsch way, raising expectations.
The concept photo then shows AIMERS members feeling both childish and mature at the same time. The enhanced visuals and unique charms of the six members exude various atmospheres on the beach sand where the sunset is seen, raising questions about the album. In particular, the scenic beauty doubled the quality as the event took place in a Thai location.
AIMERS releases high-quality content ahead of its title track “Somebody.” It receives enthusiastic responses from fans at home and abroad who are waiting for AIMERS with its tireless comeback promotions.
The new album “SOMEBODY” is about young people who are reckless but confident to achieve what they want. The album consists of three tracks: “Somebody”, “Where we go” and “Somebody (English ver.)”.
The title track of the album and having the same name, “Somebody”, conveys a meaningful message to run towards the place we have dreamed of through the encounter of each being beyond destiny, while the track “Where we go” offers another charm compared to the title song with a cool atmosphere unique to the PUNK rock genre. In particular, “Where we go” added authenticity since member SEUNG HYUN participated in the lyrics.
AIMERS made its official debut in November 2022 with the EP album “STAGE 0. BETTING STARTS” and revealed their rookie presence as its first mini-album “BUBBLING” released in Japan ranked second in the “Oricon Daily Chart” and ranked on the “Billboard” for best single sales in Japan.
AIMERS’ second single, “SOMEBODY”, will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. KST on February 15.
