Interest in the second generation of FIFTY FIFTY, which will be reorganized around KEENA, is strong around the world. It is also worth paying attention to the birth of a big song like the second “Cupid”.
A preliminary audition was held at Kalang Place in Singapore on February 3 (local time) to find new FIFTY FIFTY members.
Southeast Asian residents aged over 14 gathered at the site. If you pass the audition, you will be able to proceed to the final audition in Thailand on March 2.
Attrakt is currently holding auditions in countries around the world, including Korea, Japan and Singapore, to select new members. The audition panel includes David Yong of Evergreen Group Holdings, who announced in August last year that he would invest 10 billion won in Attrakt.
“The talent of the participants exceeded our expectations,” he said. “The final composition of FIFTY FIFTY is not yet clear.”
Attrakt announced that it would release a new song by June after confirming the group’s lineup in April.
Previously, the group was nicknamed the “Miracle of Small and Medium-Sized Agencies” when they scored records in major global charts, including the United States and the United Kingdom, with their single “CUPID”. However, its happiness lasted for a little while. Last June, its members filed a provisional injunction against the Attrakt agency to suspend the validity of their exclusivity contract.
However, the application for an interim injunction was rejected as adverse circumstances continued to be found against The Givers and the members, who were PT service providers. In the process, only KEENA withdrew her complaint and returned to Attrakt.
Since then, Attrakt has notified the cancellation of the exclusivity contracts for SAENA, SIO and ARAN, excluding KEENA, and has effectively taken steps to dissolve itself.
KEENA, who announced her new beginning with her comeback, left a handwritten letter in November last year to mark the first anniversary of her debut, saying: “It was the time to learn and experience a lot of things. I will show good performances and good music as KEENA from FIFTY FIFTY in exchange for your love.”
