The group UNIS unveiled the official logo of its group on its SNS on March 5 and took the first step towards its debut.
The group name “UNIS” means writing our story that began together in the universe. It depicts an expanded narrative that members who took their first steps towards their dreams through “Universe is Started → U&i Story” or “Universe Ticket” before their debut, continue to write stories under the name UNIS.
The meaning of the band’s name is clearly revealed in the movement of the unveiled logo. In the video, the “N” of “UNIS”, a collection of the initials “Universe_is_Started”, will be replaced by the symbol “&” meaning and, thus, “U&i Story” will be completed. This is where we can guess the direction UNIS will take and the identity of the group.
UNIS, which will debut on March 27, is an eight-member girl group consisting of JIN HYEONJU, NANA, GEHLEE DANGEA, OH YOONA, KOTOKO, BANG YUNHA, ELISIA, and LIM SEOWON. It was trained through “Universe Ticket“, an SBS audition program which ended in January. At that time, the members showed strong skills and visuals and attracted the attention of K-pop fans. Currently, UNIS regularly shows its face to the public through national and international entertainment programs and on social networks, even before its official debut.
UNIS plans to release a variety of content sequentially, starting with its official logo, building excitement for its debut.
