Actor and producer JINYOUNG produced the first song for UNICODE, an “all-Japanese K-pop girl group.”
According to Double X Entertainment, on March 26, JINYOUNG produced the title song of UNICODE’s (Erin, Yura, Hana, Mio and Sooha) debut album.
UNICODE’s first song, produced by JINYOUNG, is a city-pop song that highlights the members’ kitsch. It is said that the song will surely mark the UNICODE world.
UNICODE, who will take its first steps in the music industry in the middle of filming and with the support of JINYOUNG, is a five-member girl group, including members selected through ABEMA TV’s biggest online audition in Japan, “Project K”, in April 2023.
As UNICODE recently attracted a lot of attention by unveiling its first process via the track “UNICODE: ON&OFF” from YouTube channel “ALL THE K-POP“, expectations are high for the unparalleled concept and music that will captivate fans of the whole world.
UNICODE will officially debut at 6 p.m. KST on April 17.
