ATEEZ: The first K-pop group to headline the MAWAZINE festival
ATEEZ will perform on the OLM SOUISSI main stage of the MAWAZINE festival in Rabat, Morocco on June 23.
The MAWAZINE festival began in 2001 and, this year celebrates its 19th anniversary. It is one of the world’s leading music festivals, attracting more than 2.5 million spectators annually. So far, internationally renowned artists like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Elton John and Bruno Mars have been invited to perform on this stage.
Therefore, ATEEZ is the first K-pop group to be invited to the MAWAZINE festival, confirming its global popularity which does not seem to stop growing. Indeed, the group recently made a notable appearance at COACHELLA, the largest music festival in the United States, with its highly crafted performances. In addition, ATEEZ will be present at SUMMER SONIC 2024, one of the three largest rock and urban music festivals in the world, in Tokyo and Osaka on August 17 and 18.
Moreover, ATEEZ was the subject of the first pop-up exhibition named “KQ ENT (ATEEZ & XIKERS): A Grammy Museum Pop-Up” at the Grammy Museum in the United States. The latter proved the group’s global status and attracted considerable attention. ATEEZ also received an explosive response from ATINY (fandom name) after announcing the “TOWARDS THE LIGHT: WILL TO POWER” North American tour, leading to the addition of a second date in some cities like Duluth, Rosemont and Los Angeles.
Finally, ATEEZ, who actively performs worldwide, plans to create another legendary stage by showing its power and professionalism with irreplaceable performances and skilful stage effects.
Meanwhile, ATEEZ will unveil its tenth mini album, “GOLDEN HOUR: PART 1” on May 31.
