JYP Entertainment‘s new boy group NEXZ will officially debut today (20) with the title song of the same name as their first single “Ride the vibe“.
NEXZ, JYP Entertainment‘s first boy group in about six years since the “K-pop trend” Stray Kids, was established in 2023 as part of Season 2 of the joint audition program “Nizi Project” between JYP Entertainment and Sony Music, Japan’s largest label. There are a total of seven members with an average age of 17, TOMOYA, YU, HARU, SO GEON, SEITA, HYUI, and YUKI, and are composed of members with unique characteristics and charms specific to Generation Z.
NEXZ’s first song, “Ride the vibe“, which is presented to the world for the first time, is a sweet spot with varied sounds in a sensual and experimental atmosphere, and the seven members sing waves of emotions such as excitement, anxiety, and palpitations that may be felt for the first time: “let’s ride this vibe with me because we’re attracted.” The group’s “Easy-Experimental” genre, complemented by the fusion of hip-hop rhythms and electronic elements, attracts music fans. TOMOYA, YU, HARU, SO GEON, SEITA, HYUI, and YUKI should move freely to the beat and show different musical colors.
NEXZ will release their first single “RIDE THE VIBE” and the title track of the same name will be presented at 6 p.m. KST on May 20 and will touch the hearts of fans around the world with music with a sensual taste.
