TWS will return on June 24. These people, who gained huge popularity with their debut song “첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아“, are expected to take a hot turn this summer.
TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon and Kyeongmin) released a video titled “Our Memories: Now” on its official SNS and Hybe Label YouTube channel on May 23 at midnight.
The video begins with an empty classroom and a basketball court filled with cicadas singing. Then happy music plays on the analog cassette player and a meteor falls through the clouds.
Subsequently, the members of TWS appear one by one, crossing the light and refreshing summer landscape. Looking at the sky in the rain or walking around campus, the boys’ faces and a big bite of watermelon accentuate this freshness.
When TWS appears in the video with the background music, which are like scenes from pure literature, the members run towards the beach. And the date “24.06.24” appears on the screen, alluding to the release date of this new album.
TWS is a boy group launched by Pledis Entertainment for the first time in nine years since SEVENTEEN, and it became a syndrome-like sensation upon its debut in January.
The debut album, “SPARKLING BLUE“, its title song “첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아“, is still topping major music charts four months later, and more than 500,000 physical albums have been sold based on the Circle charts.
TWS’s “Boyhood Pop“, a genre represented by refreshing lyrics and melodies that stimulate childhood, has been well received by a wide range of ages. The focus is on what type of music they will listen to this summer.
TWS’ “Our Memories: Now” teaser video is available on the official YouTube channel before the full film is screened on T&Cs nationwide, from May 24 to 30. Videos viewed on big screens with rich audio systems should double their immersion.
