JURI from the group ROCKET PUNCH leaves the group.
On May 24, her agency Woollim Entertainment announced the end of JURI’s exclusivity contract from ROCKET PUNCH, and announced its official position on the direction of ROCKET PUNCH‘s future activities.
The agency said: “JURI, a member of ROCKET PUNCH who has been with us for some time, is a foreign member and has a different contract duration from other members,” adding: “We have decided to terminate our contract management with the company from May 24 and support each other for the future in the respective positions.”
The agency also added, “We sincerely thank JURI for being with us for a long time and thank its fans for their constant love.”
ROCKET PUNCH, who debuted with the release of its mini album “PINK PUNCH” in August 2019, released its third single “BOOM” last year.
Among the members, JURI, who has been in Japan’s AKB48, did not debut at the end of Mnet’s “Produce 48”, finishing 16th, but expanded her activities in appreciation of fans’ support.
Since then, JURI, who worked as a member of ROCKET PUNCH after signing an exclusive contract with Woollim Entertainment in 2019, has debuted again.
ROCKET PUNCH, from which JURI withdrew, continues its activities as a group of five members.
