The group TWS attracted fans from all over the world with the so-called “너드미 (Nerd Me)”, which represents the charm of delving into what TWS likes before its comeback.
On June 17, TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon and Kyeongmin) released an official photo and concept film of the “OUR” version of its second mini album “SUMMER BEAT!” on its official SNS.
TWS’s freewheeling appearance reminds us of a scene from a teen movie. Group photos of six people with different tastes and interests show their pure and lively charm. Additionally, the unit photos that appear to share their favorite activities, like music and sports, show TWS’ healthy energy.
The concept film more vividly conveys the joyful atmosphere of TWS. Sounds such as stepping on a skateboard, closing the lid of a cassette player, or bouncing a basketball were used in layers, focusing on music whose rhythm is broken into small pieces. It tells a metaphorical story of different sounds coming together to form a unique rhythm, making us look forward to these new messages.
Pledis Entertainment agency said, “This album contains the meaning that our memories with TWS, which are on summer vacation, are continuous,” adding, “Please look forward to the next version of “NOW” after the release “OUR”.”
TWS’ second mini-album, “SUMMER BEAT!” will be released on June 24. The album will contain a total of six songs, including the title song “내가 S면 넌 나의 N이 되어줘“.
