JD1 had the honor of being the first main character in Music Bank’s “BPM” award.
On June 18, JD1 released his acceptance speech and certification photos of the “BPM (Best Performance Musician)” award via his official SNS.
Music Bank’s “BPM” award is given to singers who showed the best performance and is awarded based on the results of global fan voting via the All-Chart application. JD1 proved his great popularity and interest by winning first place with his new song “Error 405“, released in May.
It takes on particular significance since it is the first winner since the creation of the BPM prize. JD1 said, “We can receive this honor by winning first place in the global fan vote. We thank our fans so much, and even if we receive this award, we will become an even harder working JD1.”
JD1’s new song “Error 405” is a fresh and comic song that reflects the feeling of “first love” that AI idol JD1 has never experienced as a wake-up call. In particular, it’s a song that features JD1’s refreshing and lively charm over a funky sound and energetic melody.
JD1 is an independent character newly created by singer Jung Dong Won, producer, to challenge various genres, and is an idol designed with the aim of challenging the K-pop market. With his debut single “WHO AM I” in January, he was nominated for first place on a music show.
