MAMAMOO: Already 10 years!
MAMAMOO, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, demonstrated a brilliant approach.
The group MAMAMOO (Solar, Moonbyul, Whee In, Hwasa) established itself as a representative girl group in Korea by releasing hit songs such as “Um Oh Ah Yeh“, “You’re the best“, “Yes I Am“, “Decalcomanie”, “Starry night” and “Hip”, starting with its first song “Mr Ambiguous“.
In particular, MAMAMOO is a group in which the distinction of each position, such as singing, rapping and dancing, has no meaning, and it marked a milestone in the history of Korean pop music with its personality distinct and the charm of four people.

In 2015, the second year since its debut, MAMAMOO entered the annual rankings of major domestic music sites such as Melon, Genie and Bugs, and won the title of “Trust and Listen Mamamoo”. After “Um Oh Ah Yeh“, MAMAMOO’s new songs topped the charts in 2016, “Decalcomanie”, “Yes I Am” in 2017, “Starry night” in 2018, “Gogobebe” in 2019, “Hip” in 2020, and “Dingga” in 2021.
At that time, it was unusual for a girl group to easily surpass the 100,000 initial sales mark and have plenty of firepower.

MAMAMOO is actively engaged in unit and solo activities as well as group activities. SOLAR and MOONBYUL formed the unit MAMAMOO+ in 2022 and continued an Asian tour last year to celebrate the release of their first mini album, “TWO RABBITS”, demonstrating the scalability of MAMAMOO.
