BTOB’s PENIEL will reveal his hidden vocal skills through his new song.
PENIEL will release his new digital single “STORY OF MY L:IFE” on various music sites at 6 p.m. KST on June 19 and return to his fans around the world.
This is the first time in about three years and four months that PENIEL has released a new song as a soloist since the digital single “VALENTINE”, released in 2021. The new song includes two songs: the title track “MIoBI (Make It or Break It)” and “Come home”.
The title song “MIOBI” is a song that recalls one’s own bright days through a deep relationship with someone in the past and wants to feel the same energy as back then again, and the cool voice of PENIEL, which was not easily perceived as a rapper, fits in with the dynamics of the rock genre.
The track “Come home” is a song that honestly talks about a man’s strong feelings that he will no longer be fooled by his partner’s betrayal and lies, expressing his desire for the other to return.
PENIEL, who has constantly participated in songwriting since his group’s activities and proven his musical competence, also participated in the writing and composition of the new opus, capturing his own color and musical history. Expectations are high for the new sensibility and charm he will have after attempting a different transformation from the charismatic rapper of BTOB, a “trustworthy group”, to a singer.
At 7 p.m. today, a live stream will take place to commemorate the release of the new song via BTOB’s official YouTube channel. Through the live broadcast that will take place immediately after the release of the digital single, BTOB will communicate with fans around the world by sharing their thoughts on their solo appearance and various stories.
