ATEEZ has announced a new Japanese single for October 12.
As its fanmeeting “ATINY’S VOYAGE: FROM A TO Z IN JAPAN” approaches, ATEEZ has announced the release of its next Japanese single “BIRTHDAY” for October 12. This new single will consist of six tracks with three songs, including “Birthday”, and their instrumental versions. A highly anticipated new single after the recent success of “NOT OKAY”.
Indeed, the third Japanese single “NOT OKAY”, released on February 28, sold around 180,000 copies on the first day of its release, eight times higher than the record held by the second Japanese single “LIMITLESS”, released in March 2023. “NOT OKAY” also ranked first on the Japanese Oricon Daily Singles Chart, Tower Records Daily Sales Chart, Rakuten Music Real-Time Chart, and Recochoku Daily Album Chart. The single also ranked second on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart and the Billboard Japan Top Single Sales Chart.
Therefore, this new single will be available in several versions: an ATINY version for the Japanese fanclub’s members which contains a 40-page photobook and 2 photocards, an A version and a B version which each contains a 36-page photobook and 1 photocard, a classic version which contains a 16-page photobook and 1 photocard and a CD version which includes 1 photocard. In addition, The Universal Music Store exclusively offers an individual version for each member (HONGJOONG, SEONGHWA, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG, JONGHO).
Finally, ATEEZ will comeback on October 12 with its fourth Japanese single “BIRTHDAY“.
