The music video for “Kill this love” has sparked explosive reactions from music fans around the world with its dynamic performance and sophisticated visual beauty. In particular, the addictive choreography such as shooting a long gun has been well received, making it the only K-pop song among the top 10 most-watched music videos worldwide in 2019.
The song has also left a big mark on various global charts. “Kill this love,” dominated by powerful brass and drum sounds, ranked No. 41 and No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 in the United States, respectively, in its first week of release, breaking the K-pop girl group chart at the time.
