The host and mentors of the boy group survival program “SCOOL,” which is a collaboration between Korea and Taiwan, have been revealed.

According to SBS M on August 30, SUPER JUNIOR‘s LEETEUK has been selected as the host of “SCOOL”. In addition, SUPER JUNIOR‘s EUNHYUK, FTISLAND’s LEE HONG KI, YUJU, choreographer CHOI YOUNG JOON, Taiwanese artists SHOW LUO, and SHOU have been confirmed as mentors to complete the top team.
LEE TEUK has been the host of various programs and award ceremonies, showing steady progress. As he is considered a trustworthy host who demonstrates his exceptional hosting skills, speed, and sense of humor, “SCOOL” is also expected to be successfully directed.
The mentor lineup is also spectacular. SUPER JUNIOR main dancer EUNHYUK and K-pop choreographer CHOI YOUNG JOON have confirmed their appearances and are expected to receive rave reviews in terms of their performances. LEE HONG KI is considered one of the most prominent singers in the music industry, so he is expected to receive a calm evaluation as a singer. YUJU, who is emerging as a solo artist, is also expected to show extraordinary performance in terms of vocal evaluation and performance.
Alongside them, Taiwanese artists SHOW LUO and Lu Jun-seok will also join as mentors. SHOW LUO began his solo career in 2003 after debuting as a member of the boy band FOUR BEST BORN (四大天王) in 1996. His total solo album sales have exceeded 7 million, and he is now considered one of China’s top artists as a singer and actor.
SHOU debuted as an alternate bassist for the boy group “IO” in 2014. He later joined the boy group WOLF (S), where he performed a variety of solo and group music. He is currently in the spotlight as one of the hottest and most popular singers in Taiwan, as he is responsible for composing, writing, and producing. The addition of SHOW LUO and SHOU to “SCOOL” is expected to garner significant global attention, and even gain recognition in Korea.
“SCOOL” is an international audition program aimed at creating a boy group that will represent the world. It will air on SBS M, SBS FiL in Korea, and SETN, TTV, RAmuchTV, Line TV, and Hami Video in the second half of 2024, and will showcase the journey of Korean and Taiwanese boys to debut as an international boy group.
