Singer IU has donated a total of 225 million won under the name “IUAENA,” which combines her name and that of her fandom “Uaena,” to mark the 16th anniversary of her debut on September 18, her agency Edam Entertainment said.

IU has donated to several organizations to help different people (children, elderly, people in need).
IU continues to donate under the name “IUaena” every year on her debut anniversary to thank her fans for their love and support.
The donation will be used to fund treatment, education, psychological support, and medical supplies for children with rare and incurable diseases, support for milk distribution and home delivery for the health of the elderly, support for replacing old elevators in facilities for the severely disabled, and support for creating an environment for comfort facilities in nursing homes.
In addition to her debut anniversary, IU constantly extends a helping hand on “Children’s Day“, “End of the Year“, and “Birthdays”.

In January of this year, she donated heating costs for vulnerable people, and in May, she donated a total of 200 million won to the Korea Welfare Service Association and The Snail of Love for her birthday.
IU said, “Thanks to UAENA, my heart is filled with love and values, and I am happy to do such meaningful work every year on behalf of IUAENA,” adding, “This is a small amount of help, but I hope it will be a good gift for those who receive it. Thank you, UAENA, for always planting love in my heart.”
IU will hold her first solo concert as a singer at the Seoul World Cup Stadium from September 21 to 22.
