PENTAGON’s JINHO will be embarking on his first solo career.
JINHO’s first solo mini album “CHO:RD,” which will be released today at 6 p.m. KST, is a combination of “CHO” and “ROAD.” It means “the road to Jinho” and “the road from Jinho” when listening to the songs on the album.
The title track, “Goodbye with you,” is a combination of acoustic instrument arrangements, string sounds, and JINHO’s calm vocals. The lyrics, filled with love for the favorite person with everyday words, leave a deep sympathy and lingering feeling with JINHO’s delicate emotions.
Another title track, “Teddy Bear,” is an R&B track with a minimalist track, dreamy pad sounds, and an addictive melody. JINHO’s new charm is expressed in fairytale lyrics, expressing his desire to be a teddy bear who is always by your side to know everything about his favorite person.
Additionally, the entire album is filled with JINHO’s songs, including the acoustic rock track “나의 너에게, 우리의 순간” which contains comfort and support for all young people, “Over” which tells his autobiographical story without adding or subtracting, and the pop genre “Bad criminal” which highlights JINHO’s sensual and mature mood.
JINHO, who is loved as PENTAGON’s main vocalist and a singer with a delicate voice and emotional line, will be starting his solo career eight years after his debut with “CHO:RD.” Many music fans are paying attention to what kind of music JINHO will perform in the new album and what kind of music world he will represent in the future.
In the meantime, JINHO will be performing on KBS2’s “Music Bank” on September 20 for his solo career debut.
