Group XG has confirmed the release of the pre-release song “IYKYK” from its second mini album.

XG (Jurin, Chisa, Cocona, Hinata, Maya, Juria, Harvey) released the cover image for “IYKYK” from its second mini album “AWE” on its official SNS on September 30.
As XG has surprised fans around the world with new attempts including music and concepts with each comeback, the group reveals an identity that has not been seen anywhere else in the cover image for “IYKYK”. In particular, it presents a unique style and concepts.
“IYKYK” stands for “IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW” making a slight reference to “Everyone who knows knows” (a bit ironic). The song symbolically depicts XG’s defiant spirit of surpassing its limits with new attempts and contains a message to set off together into a new dimension that cannot be easily reached.
“IYKYK” adds a striking beat with a sample of the song “Prism” by Japanese hip-hop group m-flo released in 2001. XG plans to invite fans around the world to embark on its journey to a new level beyond its limits.
XG’s previously released song “Something aint ligh” topped Billboard’s “Favorite New Song of the Week” and topped Billboard’s “Global Japan Songs Excl. Japan” (based on the period from July 26 to August 1).
Additionally, “WOKE UP REMIXX” (PROD BY JAKOPS), a song from “AWE” and produced by XG CEO and executive producer JAKOPS’ agency XGALX, has also been pre-released. The song is also said to have marked a milestone in the Asian hip-hop scene with the participation of Korean rappers Jay Park, Dok2, Paloalto, as well as Japanese rappers m-flo VerbAL, OZworld, AKLO, Awich, and Tak.
Meanwhile, “IYKYK” will be released on October 11, and XG will make its comeback with its second mini album “AWE” on November 8.
