The Cultural Week in Algeria was announced a few days ago via the social media of the Korean Embassy in Algeria. The week will include four diverse events in Algiers, during the period from October 8 to October 21, 2024.
For the first time, the organization of the “Korean-Arab Friendship Caravan” was announced, which will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, starting at 6:00 pm at the Ibn Khaldoun Hall in Algiers. The event will include a performance of traditional music “Gugak” and a performance by the “Expression Crew” band.
Under the slogan “The role of Algerian youth in the future of Korean-Algerian bilateral relations“, the final of the Korean language competition will be held on October 21, 2024, at 10:30 am at the Mufdi Zakaria Cultural Palace in Algiers.
The final ceremony of the K-Pop Festival 2024 competition was also announced, which will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024, starting at 5:00 pm at the “Mofdi Zakaria” Cultural Palace in Algiers.
Finally, the Korean film “Little Forest” will be screened as part of the activities of the “MIKTA” cooperation group, which includes the Republic of Korea, the United Mexican States and the Republic of Indonesia. The film will be screened on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in the “Ibn Zaydoun” Hall in Algiers.
