ASTRO - MJ
Group ASTRO member MJ successfully completed the musical journey “Zorro”.

MJ led the audience’s favorable reviews by appearing in the musical “Zorro: Actor Musician” (hereinafter “Zorro”) performed at Interpark Uniflex Hall 1 in Daehak-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul for about two months from September 15 to the 17th of this month.
“Zorro” is a work about the adventures of Diego, the son of a Spanish aristocrat who dominated California in the early 19th century. It was performed in an “Actor Musician” version, where the actors directly perform dances, songs, and acts as well as with musical instruments, providing a multitude of attractions.
MJ played Diego and Zorro, the intelligent and inventive protagonists, in this musical, and delivered a scorching performance that bridged the gap between the two characters. Every time a crisis occurred, MJ’s adaptation shone, from an aristocratic young man to a legendary hero wearing a mask, embodying justice and defeating the bad guys. The hero character, which combines wit and charisma, embodied by MJ’s detailed performance and charm, left a deep impression.
MJ, who successfully completed the last performance, said through his agency Fantagio:
“It was so nice to be able to communicate closely with the audience and realize the performance through the work “Zorro”. I was also happy to play “Diego” and “Zorro”, and I want to thank the actors, staff and directors who were with me”.
MJ then said, “I was grateful to be able to perform on stage and show it to my fans. I will try to create opportunities to meet my fans more often. Thank you for always supporting me, and I will try to become MJ who grows even more.“
After being discharged, MJ successfully completed his performance of “Zorro” after the musical “Winterreise”, establishing a solid position as a musical actor. He recently released his solo single “Why so pretty” and showed a romantic tone, and also took an active role in the KBS 2TV entertainment show “Pop-Up Landing Operation“.
