(G)I-DLE’s JEON SOYEON opened up about her contract renewal.

JEON SOYEON, who is known to be in discussions about renewing her contract with Cube Entertainment, is the leader of (G)I-DLE and is in charge of production, Hwang So Yoon asked her if she would break up with her agency, saying, “I see a lot of areas that you occupy“.
JEON SOYEON said, “I haven’t left yet. I’m still discussing it. I don’t know what will happen. I think the discussion is dragging on because the members and I want to make music in the best environment. I’m thinking about how we can have fun in this best environment“.
JEON SOYEON added, “As a producer and leader, the group always comes first. I feel like a mother in my seventh year. The members are like my babies and best friends. I’m looking for a way to work well together. I want to make a decision as soon as possible. Before the end of November.“
The issue of JEON SOYEON’s contract renewal was raised in August when she performed on the third world tour “2024 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [iDOL] IN SEOUL” in Seoul at KSPO DOME in Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, when she sang a rap, “The contract ends in November. Someone is blocking me.”
Cube Entertainment stated, “The date mentioned is the end of the contract, and we are discussing the renewal smoothly,” but JEON SOYEON stated, “This performance did not write with lies or hide them from the company.
