KG, a member of JYP Entertainment‘s new global girl group VCHA, has revealed that he was treated unfairly by some employees, claiming that she is leaving the team.

KG recently posted a statement on her social media, saying:
“Yesterday, after experiencing abuse from some staff members, I decided to terminate my contract and leave VCHA, so I have filed a complaint.”
“I believe this was a bad environment for my mental health. I do not support an environment that pushes a member to make extreme choices, fosters eating disorders, and pushes members to harm themselves.” she said.
“I made this decision in May and am still waiting for my contract to be terminated. I am concerned for my friends who remain within VCHA, who I truly love and care about,” adding: “While there are huge corporate debts that have accrued, I have received little payment for high-intensity work and restrictions on my personal life.“
“It happened, but there were also beautiful moments. Thank you to Park Jin Young, the contestants, and the employees of the company who trusted me. I don’t blame anyone for the treatment I had to endure, but I think it’s a deep-rooted problem in the K-pop industry. I hope my resignation will change the K-pop system in a better way to protect the idols and trainees left in the hands of these companies,” she said.
JYP Entertainment told media outlet OSEN on December 8, “We haven’t received any information yet, so we are currently verifying it. We discussed the situation through agents, but there were some differences. We will proceed according to the procedures in the future.”
Meanwhile, VCHA is a global girl group formed by “A2K,” a joint project of international girl group launch between JYP Entertainment and Universal Music Group’s label.
