(G)I-DLE - MINNIE
MINNIE from girl group (G)I-DLE shared the story of her debut solo album.
On January 13, her agency Cube Entertainment released MINNIE’s first mini album “HER” on its official social media.
The “commentary film” contains MINNIE’s true story with a sensual staging that seems to switch channels. In the video, MINNIE refers to herself as a third person, Her, sparking curiosity about her first mini album.
In particular, MINNIE enters the frame or poses like a statue, showing images as if she has become a work of art. Later, as the screen fades to black and white, the phrase “I am my own muse” appears, conveying the message that MINNIE herself is her muse and her work.
Earlier, MINNIE made headlines by releasing a tracklist for “HER” who participated in writing and composing all the songs. The first solo album contains seven songs, including the title track “Her” and the pre-release song “Blind eyes red“, as well as “Drive u Crazy, Feat. Yuqi”, “Cherry sky“, “Valentine’s dream“, “It’s okay“, and “Obsession, Feat. TEN by WayV”.
“HER” will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. KST on January 21 and will be released as an album on the 22nd.
