Virtual idol group PLAVE has launched a special CGV promotion ahead of the mini album release.

PLAVE will be making its comeback on February 3 with the release of its third mini album, “Caligo Pt.1.” CGV is holding special promotions and arousing fans’ interest.
On February 20, CGV’s official website and app attracted attention by creating promotional pages such as real reservation windows as well as teaser images of PLAVE’s mini album reminiscent of movie posters. In particular, the released posters and synopsis contained the plot of the upcoming music video as well as PLAVE’s appearance. This created a dark and intense atmosphere like a blockbuster movie, arousing curiosity about the concept of the new album and the original music video.
CGV has distributed “Caligo Pt.1” comeback posters at 15 locations in the Seoul metropolitan area and a total of 25 locations nationwide since January 21. At the start of the distribution, many people visited theaters and some branches have already sold out. In addition, various digital video advertisements including CGV ATMs nationwide have started during the Lunar New Year holiday, and in particular, videos featuring music videos will be shown on large LED screens at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall, CGV Yeongdeungpo, CGV Wangsimni, and CGV Gangnam, boosting promotions at theaters.
The mini album “Caligo Pt.1” is the first in more than five months since the release of the digital single “PUMP UP THE VOLUME!” in August. It was expected to have an unconventional visual and concept that completely escapes the lively and dynamic charm shown in the previous single.

On the day of the release of the new song “Pump up the volume!” in August, PLAVE topped the Melon Charts HOT100 and TOP100, attracting attention as it ranked No. 1 in terrestrial music streaming. In addition, the cumulative streaming based on all songs released reached 1 billion won, proving its popularity by ranking it as the shortest record ever in Melon’s Hall of Fame “Billions Club”.
In addition, PLAVE’s third mini album “Caligo Pt.1” will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. KST on February 3.
