SHINee member ONEW has confirmed his connection to the fandom.
ONEW successfully held their solo concert “2025 ONEW CONCERT [ONEW THE LIVE: CONNECTION” at Yokohama Arena in Japan from February 15 to 16.
“CONNECTION” is a brand new performance by ONEW, which has proven his strong global popularity by announcing the long-awaited first departure in a large arena-type concert hall. ONEW, who actively used the protruding stage and lay down freely on the stage, fascinated local fans with excellent live performances.
In particular, “CONNECTION” consists of four sections, and you can meet ONEW’s past, present, and future. ONEW has collected the stories of the solo albums released so far, conveying deep emotions and lingering feelings. Starting with the consideration of the incomplete “I“, ONEW reflected on the daily happiness that had been forgotten. We all said that we are WINNERS who endure different situations and promised to move forward together.
Since the concert was held in Japan, original Japanese songs such as “夜明けの世界”, “キラキラ”, “遅く起きた朝に“, “Beauty”, and “Life goes on” were selected. As a result, local fans sang along throughout the concert, uniting with ONEW and the music.
After successfully completing the solo concert, ONEW said, “We prepared for this concert, hoping that the connection between me and the fans would be a greater happiness for us like the title of the performance. Seeing you singing with me made me feel like I couldn’t be happier. Thank you for always making me happy without end. I will continue to tell you various stories under the name ONEW.”
ONEW will hold a solo concert “CONNECTION” at the Olympic Hall in Seoul Olympic Park from April 21 to 23, followed by Taipei Music Center on April 5 and Macau Broadway Theater on April 20. ONEW will also announce a surprise tour in the Americas, and detailed schedules will be released sequentially.
