Announced by Wavve for the dramas appearing in the first quarter of this year, KOO JUNHOE, also known as JUNE, continues his acting career in this new thriller: ‘Conviction’.
Scheduled for release in May 2025, “Conviction“ is a crime thriller involving revenge. The story follows an unknown actor who loses his parents to a phishing scam, infiltrates a massive voice phishing organisation using deepfake technology, and then takes them down. The realism of the drama has been enhanced by the inclusion of various cases such as voice phishing, credit card fraud and email phishing, which have become societal issues.
Lead actors include actress Lee Joo Young, who appeared in the drama “Itaewon class“, actor Ji Seung Hyun, who has strengthened his name in the industry through his role in “Goryeo-Khitan war“ or most recently seen in the drama “Good partner“. And KOO JUNHOE (JUNE), who has recently built up a diverse filmography with roles in “Bora! Deborah“, “Marry you” and “Twinkling watermelon”.
We don’t yet know what role KOO JUNHOE has been given, but fans are delighted to see him continuing his career while diversifying his roles.
The drama will be released in May 2025 on the streaming platform Wavve.
