EXO member and solo singer BAEKHYUN has released a new song “Do what you do” featuring American singer-songwriter UMI.

The new song “Do what you do“, released on March 3, is a collaboration song that BAEKHYUN performs for the first time in four years. It is an emotional R&B duet song that contains the mixture of emotions in the pain of separation. It is characterized by a combination of warm analog sound and delicate emotional lines from both BAEKHYUN and UMI’s vocals to convey a deep aftertaste.
The song was composed by UMI, which added authenticity, and K-pop hitmaker EL CAPITXN produced it to enhance its comprehensiveness. EL CAPITXN is a producer who has proven his strong musical abilities by collaborating with various K-pop artists such as BTS and IU.
With this new song, EL CAPITXN plans to launch a variety of projects that closely connect K-pop and the global music scene. It will introduce the original sound of K-pop to the global market and continue to collaborate with foreign artists to create new musical synergy.
BAEKHYUN recorded three million consecutive sales with his fourth mini album “HELLO, WORLD” released last year, and broke his own sales records. BAEKHYUN plans to continue his activities in China and overseas this year, starting with his new song “Do what you do“.
“Do what you do“, which will be hosted by BAEKHYUN, UMI, and EL CAPITXN, was released at 2 p.m. on major domestic and international music platforms.
