March 7, 2025, marks a new milestone in JENNIE’s solo career. The iconic BLACKPINK member unveils her very first full-length album, “Ruby“, a project that promises to capture the purest essence of her artistry.
The album’s title carries deep meaning: “Ruby” is a nod to JENNIE’s alter ego, “Ruby Jane“, a persona she created at the age of 11 while living in New Zealand. Representing a bolder, more flamboyant version of herself, “Ruby Jane” is defined by her fiery red hair and incandescent energy. This alter ego takes center stage in the tracks of “Ruby“.
The album features 15 songs and showcases collaborations with renowned artists such as Childish Gambino, Doechii, Dominic Fike, FKJ, Dua Lipa, and Kali Uchis. This diverse lineup highlights JENNIE’s ambition to explore a variety of musical genres, delivering a rich and multifaceted listening experience.
Following the success of “Mantra“, “ZEN“, and “Love Hangover” (featuring Dominic Fike), JENNIE releases the music video of “like JENNIE” the focus track of her album. Staying true to her signature style, she delivers a mesmerizing performance, blending stunning visuals, striking cinematography, and an impressive performance.
To promote “Ruby“, JENNIE has planned an intimate concert series titled “The Ruby Experience“, set to take place in three cities from March 6 to March 15, 2025. Additionally, she will grace the stage at “Coachella” on April 13 and April 20, 2025.
