AESPA: An electrifying show in Paris

Let you be swept away by the “Aenergy” of AESPA!

After a performance at the Dôme de Paris in September 2023, AESPA returned on March 4th to the Zénith de la Villette for its European tour “SYNK: PARALLEL LINE”. Invited by LIVENATION, KSTATION TV had the honor of attending the reunion between AESPA and the European MY (fandom name).

This reunion was eagerly awaited by the fans, who began singing in unison even before the arrival of AESPA members (KARINA, GISELLE, WINTER, NINGNING). Their excitement significantly raised the temperature of the room. The concert kicked off with the first notes of “Drama” which was quickly followed by the group’s debut song, “Black mamba“, as well as “Salty & sweet“. Accompanied by enthusiastic fan chants, the members delivered an incredibly vibrant start. The group fully transported the audience into the unique world of KWANGYA with exceptional scenography during performances like “Mine” and “Flights, not feelings“. With impressive sets, accessories, and creative camera work, the concert unfolded in a multi-dimensional experience, mirroring the captivating universe of AESPA.

In addition to the group performances, KARINA, GISELLE, WINTER and NINGNING presented sublime solo performances on “Dopamine“, “Up“, “Bored!” and “Spark“. These performances were an opportunity to not only reveal the extent of their individual talents but also to unveil their personal aesthetics we look forward to discovering further in future projects.

Back as a group on the catchy song “Spicy“, the atmosphere goes up a notch and “the party is only just beginning” according to KARINA. The members sang and danced with fans on “Pink hoodie“, “Hold on tight” or “Live my life” creating unforgettable memories. This lively moment was momentarily interrupted by the enigmatic arrival of NAEVIS, a key character in the AESPA universe. For the first time in France, the virtual idol performed her song “Done.” The performance showcased impressive technical skills and a unique staging that particularly caught our attention.

After this moment suspended in time, the four members of AESPA are back for the last part of the concert. Navigating in a unique style that mixes hyperpop, electropop and EDM, the group returns with its famous songs like “Whiplash“, “Next level” or “Armageddon” to show fiery performances that turn the Zénith de la Villette upside down.

But the concert is far from over! Before the encore, AESPA prepared a game with its fans called “Dance challenge time“. Randomly selected fans were invited to reproduce the choreographies of popular songs like “Hot mess” and “Supernova” or show messages of support for the members on the giant screens. This created a particularly friendly and warm atmosphere as the end of the concert approached. Finally, the concert wrapped up with the songs “Aenergy”, “Just another girl” and “Life’s too short” followed by AESPA’s thanks for the MY’s unwavering support and the promise to come back to Paris soon.

To conclude, we will remember from this concert the impressive stage presence of AESPA members and the incredible energy of the fans who accompanied us throughout this evening. Additionally, the meticulous attention to the scenography allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the unique universe of AESPA, offering the most electrifying show!
