As the bereaved family of WHEESUNG set up a morgue at the Samsung Medical Center funeral home from the 14th, they expressed their request.
“The deceased will receive condolences from mourners starting at 11 a.m. on March 14, and coverage by photo and video reporters has been coordinated in consultation with the organizers,” Tajo Entertainment said on the afternoon of March 13.
It added:
“The bereaved family and authorities have urged that mourners not be covered (photographed and videotaped) outside the funeral home so that they can commemorate the death discreetly. Therefore, we ask reporters to cooperate with the bereaved family so that they can celebrate the deceased discreetly.”
WHEESUNG was found dead at his home in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on March 10. He was 43 years old.
The bereaved family stated, “All those who knew our son, brother, and all those who were happy with his songs and music during their lives should not hesitate to come to the mortuary without any burden and be by his side so that he does not feel alone upon his departure.”
The funeral is scheduled for March 16, with interment at Gwangneung Memorial Park.
