XG won two titles at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan after announcing its Tokyo Dome debut.

At the MTV Video Music Awards Japan, held in Japan on March 19, XG won the “Best Visual Effects” and “Performance of the Year” categories for “Woke Up.”
XG’s executive producer, JAKOPS (Simon Junho Park), who has made his mark on XG, also won the “Best Producer” category at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan. “Congratulations and thank you again, Simone, for winning the Best Producer award.” Group member Jurin also added:
“Woke Up” is a song that defined XG in 2024, and it’s a unique work for which we worked with a trusted director. Thank you.” – JURIN
At the MTV Video Music Awards Japan, XG walked the red carpet wearing Alexander Wang’s archival collection, attracting attention. This outfit, from the archive collection, is the result of a collaboration suggested by Alexander Wang, creative director of XG. Following the black and silver collection, XG drew attention with a reimagined all-white look on stage.
The MTV Video Music Awards Japan, won by XG, are known as the Japanese version of the American MTV Video Music Awards and have brought together Japanese and international artists. Previously, XG had won fans around the world by revealing its unique musical colors with “Left right,” “Shooting star,” and “Woke up.” Additionally, JAKOPS released remixed versions of each track, including “Woke up,” helping to expand XG’s influence.
XG, which proved its power by being featured on the MTV Video Music Awards Japan winners list, is currently wrapping up its “The First HOWL” world tour and will conclude with a concert at the Tokyo Dome in Japan on May 14.
