BTS - JIN
The investigation into a Japanese woman charged with sexual harassment for kissing BTS member JIN has been suspended.

The Seoul Songpa Police Station reportedly decided to suspend the investigation into the Japanese person on the 26th (date of suspension).
In the event of a suspension of the investigation, if the suspect’s whereabouts are unknown, or if it is impossible to investigate them or their contact person for an extended period, such as if they have been abroad for more than two months or are seriously ill, the investigation will be suspended.
It is known that “A,” a Japanese woman, cannot appear immediately, and the police have decided to suspend the investigation due to the difficulty of locating her.
Earlier, last June, a Japanese woman, “A,” attended a hugging ceremony with 1,000 fans at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu and unexpectedly kissed JIN on the cheek. JIN was seen trying to avoid “A,” looking embarrassed.
“A”‘s behavior sparked controversy for sexual harassment, and a civil complaint was filed with the National Newspaper seeking punishment. The police launched an internal investigation and confirmed “A”‘s identity and harassment through his blog. They also asked the Japanese blog for her personal information, but received no response.
Last July, the police asked Interpol Japan to investigate the international escalation through the National Police Agency. In approximately seven months, the suspect was identified, charged, and summoned to appear in court.
