Singer IU has released concept photos ahead of the release of the remake album “꽃갈피셋 (Kkotgalpi 3).”
EDAM Entertainment released five concept photos on IU’s official social media channels on May 17. Inspired by the analog sensibilities of the “Kkotgalpi” series, these concept photos are produced in a tribute format reminiscent of previous albums.
The photos range from an image of IU with her eyes closed, guitar in hand, to her adorable face on the ground in a striped outfit and conical hat, to a mysterious image where only her silhouette is exposed. These photos, with their varied moods, evoke emotions from the past while also questioning their connection to the “Kkotgalpi 3.”
The font used in the concept photos also evokes an analog atmosphere and recalls old memories. While some wonder, “What kind of old albums will she be paying homage to?” There is ongoing speculation as to whether this is simply a concept or a hint related to the song.
IU, who has already released several cover songs with “Kkotgalpi” in 2014 and “Kkotgalpi 2” in 2017, will release her third album, “Kkotgalpi 3,” on the 27th. Public anticipation is growing for the return of the “Kkotgalpi” series, which will be released after approximately eight years.
