SHINee will present “Poet | Artist,” which takes a new step forward with this new song.
SHINee’s single “Poet | Artist” consists of two songs: the title track “Poet | Artist” and the title track “Starlight.” All songs will be available on various music platforms on May 25 at midnight KST, the same day SHINee’s single is released.
The title track “Poet | Artist” is an electro-pop song that combines the main theme, a vocal riff, with snare drum attacks and reggae rhythms. Jonghyun wrote and composed for SHINee. The lyrics convey a message: to break the mold and create something new together, applying the literary and poetic freedom of both poet and artist, not only to works of art, but also to everyday life.
SHINee’s single “Poet | Artist” will also be released as an album on May 26, and pre-orders will begin today at various online and offline music stores. The group will also hold a three-day concert at KSPO Dome from May 23 to May 25.
