The group FROMIS_9 has confirmed its return in June.
“FROMIS_9 has confirmed its comeback in June. We are preparing a new summer album with FROMIS_9’s unique charms. Please look forward to it,” Ascend’s agency announced on Tuesday.
This comeback comes approximately six months after the release of the special single “FROM” last December, and fans are eagerly awaiting it, as it is the first new release since signing an exclusive contract with Ascend.
FROMIS_9’s career-best single “SUPERSONIC” has been acclaimed since its release last August, remaining in the top 100 of various music charts. Building on this momentum, FROMIS_9 is expected to solidify their position as “summer queen” with this new album.
Previously, FROMIS_0 announced the resumption of activities by releasing new profiles and mood videos after signing an exclusive contract with Ascend in January.
Meanwhile, FROMIS_9 has pursued various individual activities. LEE CHAE YOUNG is working as a model for a fashion brand, and BAEK JI HEON landed his first acting role in the music video for singer Park Jae Jung’s “Your song.” SONG HA YOUNG and BAEK JI HEON displayed boundless energy, like “victory fairies,” by throwing and hitting the first pitch during the Doosan Bears’ KBO League match against the Kia Tigers and the Doosan Bears.
FROMIS_9, meanwhile, has gained popularity since its debut in 2018 thanks to several hits such as “Love bomb,” “DM,” and “Stay this way.” Since then, the group has also proven its popularity by winning first place on several music shows during previous promotions of “Supersonic.”
