JISOO, member of BLACKPINK and actress, took home the “Best Female Solo Artist” award at ASEA 2025, further cementing her global popularity.
The Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2025, presented by ZOZOTOWN (ASEA 2025), were held on May 28 and 29 at the K-Arena Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan. JISOO was awarded the trophy in the category of “The Best Solo (Female).”
Winners in this category are determined based on digital and physical sales (40%), expert evaluations (30%), and fan votes (30%).
On May 29, JISOO posted a photo with her trophy on social media, along with the message:
“Thank you, BLINK. I love you, BLINK,” expressing her heartfelt gratitude to her fans.
Under her own label, BLISSOO, JISOO made her solo comeback on February 14 with her first mini-album “AMORTAGE” and its title track “earthquake.” Despite a short 10-day pre-order period, “AMORTAGE” sold 520,318 copies in its first week.
To date, the album has reached 150 million streams on Spotify and 150 million plays on YouTube Music.
Additionally, JISOO is set to return to the big screen in July with the film “Omniscient Reader: The profet” (전지적 독자 시점).
