A new album to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut.
SUPER JUNIOR will release a new album to mark the 20th anniversary of its debut.
On June 5, SM Entertainment announced in an official statement:
“This year, SUPER JUNIOR is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a historic project that includes an exhibition, variety shows, an album, a pop-up store, and a concert tour. The highlight of this project will be their 12th studio album, titled SUPER JUNIOR 25, which will be released on July 8.”
“SUPER JUNIOR 25” is the successor to the group’s debut album, “SUPER JUNIOR 05″ (Studio Album 1), released in 2005. The album name was chosen by the members themselves, adding even more significance to it.
This album comes about 2 years and 8 months after the release of their 11th studio album, Vol.2 “THE RO£AD: Celebration”, in December 2022. With a total of 9 new songs, it is expected to receive an enthusiastic response.
To celebrate their return with fans around the world, the members of SUPER JUNIOR will hold an online showcase on the album release day, July 8.
