JUSTB - BAIN
BAIN, a member of the idol group JUST B, speaks out again after becoming the first active K-pop idol member to come out.

On June 17, BAIN shared an interview he did with the American media outlet The Hollywood Reporter.
In the article, BAIN said:
“In fact, this is a new beginning for me. This new start seems to be opening my heart and broadening my horizons. It has allowed me to dream bigger.”
He also talked about acting projects in the U.S., stating:
“I’d like to play the role of a gay friend in a teen drama. I’m also considering solo projects where I can honestly share my story.”
BAIN then added:
“I hope other queer K-pop artists will find the courage to make their own choices.”

He admitted, “The first few weeks after my coming out were a bit difficult. I saw a lot of negative comments, but also some really positive ones.” He clarified, “I won’t say that I block comments. I enjoy them. If people want to talk about me, whether good or bad, I welcome it.”
Last April, during the world tour “JUST ODD” in Los Angeles, BAIN revealed his sexual orientation, saying:
“I’m proud to be a member of the LGBTQ community.”
He later added:
“I’m proud to be a member of the LGBTQ community. As a gay man. My queen, Lady Gaga, showed me the beauty of being different. To everyone who is part of the LGBTQ+ community, or still figuring out who they are: this is for you. You are seen, you are loved, you were born this way.”
