MONSTA X’s I.M is leaving “Kiss The Radio”.
On the 20th, his agency Sony Music Entertainment Korea announced: “I.M is stepping down from KBS Cool FM’s ‘MONSTA X I.M’s Kiss The Radio’ to focus more on his music and group activities. We would like to thank the listeners who have shown him so much love until now.”
I.M has been the DJ for ‘Kiss The Radio’ for about a year since July of last year. Despite it being his first time hosting a radio show, he received praise for his calm voice and empathy, building a deep connection with listeners. His ability to create an emotional atmosphere fitting for late-night radio, along with introducing heartfelt messages and stories, has provided comfort and healing to his listeners, proving another side of his potential.
Earlier this year, I.M held an encore tour in Seoul and Japan and surprised fans with the release of his digital single “DON’T SPEAK”, continuing his active music career. Balancing both group and solo activities, he has been making his presence felt in multiple areas.
Meanwhile, “MONSTA X I.M’s Kiss The Radio” will conclude with the broadcast on the 29th, marking the end of I.M’s hosting role.
