PLAVE
The virtual idol group PLAVE topped the Oricon charts right from its debut in Japan.

According to the latest Oricon ranking published on July 9 (for the week of July 8, 2025), PLAVE’s very first Japanese single, titled “「かくれんぼ」(Kakurenbo),” sold 191,000 copies on its first day of release, securing the No. 1 spot on the daily singles chart.
With this achievement, PLAVE continues its streak of success in the Japanese market: after already reaching No. 1 on Oricon’s daily album chart in February with their third Korean mini-album “Caligo Pt.1,” the group now dominates the singles category.
PLAVE officially kicked off its Japanese activities with the digital release of the single on June 16, followed by a successful launch showcase held in Tokyo on June 17.
This single includes three tracks: the title track “「かくれんぼ」(Kakurenbo),” the group’s first original Japanese song, as well as two Japanese versions of previously released songs: “RIZZ – Japanese Ver.” and “Chroma Drift – Japanese Ver.”
From June 24 to 30, PLAVE also hosted a commemorative pop-up store titled “PLAVE JAPAN DEBUT POP-UP in MIYASHITA PARK” at Miyashita Park in Tokyo’s Shibuya district. The event concluded successfully. Currently, another pop-up store, “PLAVE JP 1ST SINGLE『かくれんぼ』POP-UP STORE,” is ongoing at SHIBUYA109, drawing a strong crowd of local fans.
With their debut single already topping the Oricon charts, attention now turns to the group members’ growing global ambitions.
Additionally, PLAVE will kick off their first Asian tour, titled “DASH: QUANTUM LEAP,” with a concert in Seoul from August 15 to 17 at the KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, marking its two-year anniversary since debut.
