PAEK IN TAE
Musical theater singer PAEK IN TAE takes on the powerful role of independence hero Ahn Changho, also known as Dosan, with emotional intensity.

PAEK IN TAE will portray the lead role of Ahn Changho in the original opera “Dosan,” which will be staged starting July 11 at the Opera Theater of the Seoul Arts Center.
“Dosan” is an original opera highlighting the life and philosophy of national leader Ahn Changho, in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation. PAEK IN TAE’s strong stage presence and emotional acting will shine in this production. The work pays tribute to Dosan’s spirit, symbol of the independence movement and national enlightenment, through a deeply artistic lens.
PAEK IN TAE previously took part in this project in a musical format during a performance in Los Angeles last year, where he deeply moved local audiences and received glowing reviews. This year, he returns in a more traditional operatic version infused with Korean storytelling and sentiment, presenting a lyrical form of K-Culture that promises timeless emotion.
A finalist of JTBC’s “Phantom Singer,” PAEK IN TAE has made a name for himself as part of the crossover duo DUETTO, as well as through musicals such as “Secretly, Greatly – THE LAST,” “Ludwig,” and “무명호걸:無名豪傑.” With his powerful vocals and pitch-perfect character portrayals, he has established himself as a leading figure in Korea’s crossover and musical theater scenes.
In “Dosan,” the next major chapter of his career, PAEK IN TAE will retrace the passionate life of Ahn Changho, bringing to life his humanity and philosophy through both music and performance.
The opera “Dosan,” driven by PAEK IN TAE’s moving performance, will run from July 11 to 13 at the Opera Theater of the Seoul Arts Center in Seocho District.
