ERA
Singer-songwriter ERA (Lee Are) is releasing a new single.

ERA’s latest track, titled “Flirting,” is a city pop song that features groovy synth sounds and a retro vibe, marked by a catchy bass line. The lyrics capture the subtle emotions and delicious tension felt right before a romantic connection turns into a real relationship.
Set to a soundscape that evokes the breezy freshness of midsummer, ERA’s crystal-clear voice adds a gentle thrill to the listening experience, prompting listeners to recall their own moments of passionate love. Having written and composed the song herself, ERA brings an extra layer of authenticity and artistic refinement to the release.
What makes ERA particularly noteworthy is her unique background. She has performed at literary concerts alongside some of Korea’s most celebrated contemporary writers, including Shin Kyung-sook, Kim Hong-shin, Park Beom-shin, Kim Yong-taek, Hwang Sok-yong, Gong Ji-young, as well as poets Ko Un and Jeong Ho-seung. Through these collaborations, she has helped shape a new cultural movement blending literature and music. With this new song, ERA continues to explore everyday moments of love, expressing them in her own genuine artistic language and creating a deep sense of connection with her audience.

ERA first gained attention in 2009 when she won the Grand Prize at the Literary Song Festival, a songwriting contest hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. Since then, she has been active in her musical career, releasing tracks such as “엄마를 부탁해 (Please Look After Mom),” “그대라는 봄 (The Spring That Is You) feat. Vasco,” and “아이스크림 먹으러 갈래? (Wanna Go Get Ice Cream?).”
ERA’s new single, “FLIRTING,” will be released at noon KST on July 13 across all major music streaming platforms.
