ROWOON, former member of SF9, to undergo a new medical exam before military enlistment?
Actor ROWOON, formerly of the group SF9, will undergo another medical examination ahead of his military enlistment.
On July 17, ROWOON’s agency, FNC Entertainment, announced on its official website:
“ROWOON, who was scheduled to enlist as an active-duty soldier on July 21, was reclassified as Level 7 (requiring re-examination) during the pre-enlistment physical examination conducted by the Military Manpower Administration two weeks prior to enlistment. This examination has been mandatory for all conscripts since July of this year.”
The agency continued:
“ROWOON immediately submitted a request for re-examination, and a new medical exam is scheduled for early August. Through this process, he hopes to confirm that there are no issues preventing him from fulfilling his military duty, and he wishes to enlist as an active-duty soldier as soon as possible. We will provide an update once a new enlistment date has been set.“
Born in 1996, ROWOON was originally set to begin his active-duty service in the army on July 21, but the schedule was suddenly changed due to the need for a re-examination.

We would like to inform you regarding the military enlistment of our actor, Rowoon.
Rowoon, who was scheduled to enlist as an active-duty soldier on July 21, was reclassified as Level 7 (requiring re-examination) during the pre-enlistment physical examination conducted two weeks before enlistment, in accordance with new procedures implemented this July for all individuals subject to military service.
He immediately submitted a request for re-examination, which is scheduled for early August. Through this process, he hopes to confirm that there are no obstacles preventing him from fulfilling his military obligations, and he wishes to enlist as an active-duty soldier as soon as possible.
