BAEKHYUN
BAEKHYUN gave us “Rendez-vous” in Paris for an exceptional concert!

BYUN BAEK-HYUN, more commonly known as BAEKHYUN, former member of EXO-K and current member of EXO/SUPER M, kicked off his first world tour, “2025 BAEKHYUN WORLD TOUR <REVERIE>“, on June 7th in Seoul. It will conclude on November 1st in Singapore after 29 dates worldwide. On Wednesday, July 16th, the soloist met his French fans at the Adidas Arena in Paris. Invited by iMe Europe, KSTATION TV had the honor of attending his first solo concert in the French capital.
Throughout the concert, we experienced a wide variety of atmospheres, made possible by the different songs, BAEKHYUN‘s stunning outfits, and the incredible visual effects orchestrated by the production team and the arena. The show began with a long and beautiful visual introduction featuring BAEKHYUN, which immediately captured the audience’s attention.
BAEKHYUN took the stage with the song “Young (feat. LOCO)“, greeted by the enthusiastic cheers of the many EXO-L and Erikyoong (fandom name), before continuing with “Ghost“, “Pineapple slice“, and a first interaction with the audience.
“I see there are a lot of you here tonight. I think the weather today wasn’t great. Did it rain? You know that last year, when I was on tour, the rain followed me everywhere. But yesterday, when I walked around Paris, it didn’t rain. But as luck would have it, the day of my concert, it’s raining. But that’s okay, because you guys are so excited! I see that right from the start, your energy is incredible. Usually, it takes me a while to take off my jacket, and here I am already off. Welcome everyone, and I’m going to give it my all tonight.” – BAEKHYUN
The second part of the concert took a more sensual turn, carried by a series of captivating songs like “Woo“, “Underwater“, and “Bambi“, the latter of which was sung in unison by the audience. Continuing in this sensual atmosphere, BAEKHYUN followed with “Chocolat“, “Rendez-vous“, and “Good morning“, which he sang a cappella with the crowd, creating a warm and intimate moment.
After this last song, the mood changed. BAEKHYUN returned to the stage in a comforting, dreamlike atmosphere with the songs “Love comes back“, “Lemonade“, and “Un village“. At the end of the latter, the room erupted in excitement: fans stamped their feet vigorously and sang the famous French cheering song, which surprised and amused BAEKHYUN.
Before resuming, BAEKHYUN joked that his top was in danger of breaking during “Truth be told“. He then moved on to “Cold heart” and “Psycho“, which he said he was particularly proud of, as he had reworked the arrangement himself to give it more impact on stage. Finally, a new theme was introduced, with a old school feel. BAEKHYUN performed “Black dreams“, “Betcha“, and “Candy” in an energetic atmosphere, much anticipated by the audience.
As the end of the concert approached, BAEKHYUN, after performing “Elevator“, announced with a smile, “Already time to say goodbye? Here’s the last song, but it’s not quite the last one.” While waiting for the encore, the Korean lyrics and their romanisation, “Amusement park“, appeared on the screens, accompanied by the instrumental version of the song, transforming the stage into a gigantic karaoke.
Back on stage, BAEKHYUN performed “No problem“, followed by “Garden in the air“, where he encouraged the fans to use their lightstick, creating a touching moment of complicity. He then shared a final moment of conversation with his fans, taking the opportunity to gently tease them: “I heard your efforts during karaoke. Singing in Korean wasn’t easy, but as soon as it was in English, everyone knew the words and didn’t make a mistake!” He then continued with the song “Late night calls“, accompanied only by guitar, before singing a few notes of “Cry for love” a cappella, following a request from the audience.
Finally, the fans had prepared a surprise video to thank him for coming to France and show him how much they were looking forward to this concert. Visibly moved, BAEKHYUN thanked his fans before taking photos with the entire audience. It is then that he offers us a final moment of magic with “Amusement park”, marking the end of this incredible evening.
“It’s thanks to you that I’m here tonight. I really want to thank you for your support.“ – BAEKHYUN

To conclude, this concert was vocally incredible, refreshing, and innovative, not only in terms of the artistic production and visual presentation, but also in terms of the nostalgia of seeing an artist whose fans have been waiting for over 10 years.
Finally, BAEKHYUN will continue his European tour with a concert in Milan, Italy, on July 20th.
