On 16 July 2025, the music and entertainment data platform Luminate released its 2025 Midyear Music Report. According to the report, the album « 合 (HOP) », by the group STRAY KIDS (BANGCHAN, LEE KNOW, CHANGBIN, HYUNJIN, HAN, FELIX, SEUNGMIN, I.N) from JYP ENTERTAINMENT, released in December 2024, sold 149,000 CD copies in the United States, reaching 2nd place on the U.S. Top CD Albums chart. This marks the highest ranking ever achieved by an Asian artist, including K-pop, highlighting the group’s growing global popularity.
The group also became the first artist to appear on this chart three years in a row, with a different album each time: « MAXIDENT » (in 2023) and « 樂-STAR » (in 2024) were also ranked in the Top 10 for CD sales in the U.S. during the first half of their respective years.
STRAY KIDS is currently on its world tour, « STRAY KIDS World Tour <dominATE> ». The European leg includes eight concerts in six cities, with stops at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 18 and 19 July (a first for a K-pop artist), followed by Madrid (22 July), Paris (26 and 27 July), and Rome (30 July).
